![]() ![]() Another user also mentioned WiiFlow working for forcing 480i but I tried the similar settings that would have made sense to no avail. I found a topic on a similar issue (needing to force 480i because a capture card didn't support 480p) but an answer stated that the system will know that the main menu is set to 480i and should use that setting so there should be no need to force it, but that clearly isn't happening here. This happens regardless of the settings I change in USB Loader (for example, Force NTSC, use disc default, use global setting, etc) and the console itself is already set to 480i, since the EDTV/480p setting would have resulted in the same image issues I mentioned. ![]() If you've tried to run progressive scan on a CRT which doesn't support it, you know what that looks like - basically double imaging and static/warpy diagonal picture. The issue I'm having is that with the game Earth Seeker, whether the unpatched Japanese version, or the English version that I've applied the translation patch to (tested both so that I know it's not the patch messing it up), when I load it on a real Wii with component cables, connected to a CRT which only supports up to 480i, the game appears to always load in 480p. I've tried looking around the internet and information/posts on the Earth Seeker patch itself and I haven't been able to find a solution.
